The main activity of the laboratory is to carry out work to ensure environmental, hydrochemical and microbiological research.

The laboratory tests more than 80 chemical parameters of various water objects, more than 20 indicators of soils and soils, including the total salt composition, metals, organic and inorganic compounds, phenols, petroleum products. Measurements of the total activity of alpha, beta, gamma-emitting nuclides in samples from samples of environmental objects are carried out. 

Analytical methods for determining physico-chemical parameters include ionometry, gravimetry, nephelometry, turbidimetry, organoleptics, potentiometry, titrimetry, fluorometry, photometry, etc.

The work uses only the most modern and reliable measurement methods included in the State Register of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The analytical laboratory "EKiHA" carries out analytical control of the state of environmental components, including:

• atmospheric air, working area air
• natural, surface, underground, groundwater  
• waste water 
• drinking and bottled water  
• soil  
• Radiation level
• noise
• illumination
• Food safety (TR CU)
