The Institute of Turkology researches the common values of the history, language and literature of the Turkic people, their culture, the process of the formation of the science of Turkology, the formation of the science of archaeology, language connections, the development process and periods of the science of Turkology in a comparative manner. Contributes to the advancement of Turkological science, continues the study of medieval Turkish written works and publishes them scientifically. Systematically researches the language, literature, history, worldview, religion and folklore of Turkic peoples. It guides scientific research processes, applies effective methods to maximise results, attaches importance to the training of scientific personnel and focuses on developing the creative aspects of young scientists.
