Ancient Turkic written monuments

The Institute considers the study of ancient and medieval Turkic written monuments as one of its primary research directions. The language, content, historical significance, and cultural value of the Orkhon-Yenisey inscriptions, Chagatai texts, and other ancient Turkic written monuments are scientifically analyzed. Their textual features, linguistic structures, and value as historical sources are identified, and efforts are made to introduce them into academic circulation. Attention is also paid to improving methodologies for preserving, publishing, and studying ancient heritage.
