The Institute comprehensively studies the linguistic heritage of Turkic peoples, their literary works, and the historical processes of their development. It examines the interrelations among Turkic languages, their common lexical and grammatical features, and linguistic continuity. In addition, the classical and modern literature of Turkic peoples, literary connections, artistic traditions, and literary heritage are explored from a scholarly perspective. The stages of formation and development of Turkic literature are analyzed comparatively on the basis of shared spiritual values.
