The Institute places special importance on strengthening academic ties among Turkologists worldwide and developing international cooperation. For this purpose, the International Congress of Turkology is organized once every two years to discuss current issues in Turkological studies. The Institute establishes cooperation with foreign research centers and implements joint projects, scientific expeditions, and academic exchange programs. In addition, it actively participates in international, national, and regional scientific conferences, presents research findings, and promotes the integration of science and education.
