General academic English language department

In 2006, the Department of General Academic English became part of the Faculty of Medicine as the Department of "Language Subjects". In the 2007-2008 academic year, the department was divided into two and renamed "Foreign Languages". In the 2008 academic year, due to changes in the structure of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi KSTU, the Department of Foreign Languages was closed, and the Department of Natural Sciences English Language was created in its place. The department was included in the Faculty of Philology. Currently, the department employs a total of 20 OPCs, including 2 candidates, 10 senior lecturers, 8 lecturers. Teachers of the department participate in advanced training courses in order to improve their qualifications in each academic year. Student conferences and student Olympiads on the subject of practical English are organized.
