Student Induction Ceremony

Senior students of the Russian Language and Literature programme formally welcomed the first-year students of groups FRL-621A, FRL-621B, and FRF-621 into the student community. All lecturers of the Department of Russian Language and Literature attended the event.

The participants were coordinated and the event was organised by Gyulan Gaharmanova, a lecturer responsible for the department’s educational and extracurricular activities.

The programme included creative performances, musical presentations, team games, and congratulatory speeches. An important part of the event was the first-year students’ formal pledge.

The presentation of a key, a book, and coffee to the first-year students by senior students had special symbolic significance. These items represent new opportunities, the pursuit of knowledge, and a fulfilling student life.
