- İs fluent in the literary Turkish language, understands its dialectal diversity, owns phonetic, lexical, grammatical and textual models and norms of the language, and is also able to conduct scientific research in modern areas in the field of linguistics, using modern linguistic methods and techniques in the scientific research of language and speech.
- İnterprets linguistic facts from the point of view of the historical development of the language, reads texts in Old Turkic, Old Uighur, Karakhan, Chagatai and Ottoman languages, makes transcriptions of manuscripts, and also conducts comparative studies of modern Turkic languages (Uzbek, Uighur, Tatar, Bashkir, Kazakh, Kyrgyz) .
- Describes the content and patterns of development of Turkish literature, the main stages of the literary process in the folk, ancient, classical and modern eras, explains the aesthetic patterns and forms of artistic consciousness reflected in the works of Turkish literature, owns modern research tools and various ways of translating knowledge of the basic concepts of literary criticism.
