Department Achievements
• The department has developed its own scientific direction and established a scientific foundation and potential for addressing current socio-economic, scientific, and technological development issues of the region.
• Senior Lecturer of the department, PhD Nurdinov Nursultan Seysenbayuly, is the head of a grant-funded scientific project for 2024–2026 on the topic “Study of the Genetic Profile of Patients with Drug-Resistant Epilepsy in the Turkistan Region.”
• In the 2025–2026 academic year, the department’s faculty members published 7 scientific articles in Q1 and Q2 quartile journals.
• The department’s lecturers completed advanced training and internships at leading universities of the Republic of Türkiye within the framework of international academic exchange and the “Orhun” program.
• Representatives of the department participated in the XV National and III International Congress on Medical Education held in Istanbul.
• Within the framework of the “Academic Mobility” and “Visiting Professor” programs, 13 professors and lecturers from leading medical universities of Uzbekistan visited the department, delivering lectures, conducting practical classes, and holding master classes.
• Ten faculty members of the department visited medical universities in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan for the purpose of experience exchange and professional development.
Achievements of Our Students
Our students actively participate in various conferences, educational competitions, and master classes held both in Kazakhstan and in neighboring and distant foreign countries, where they demonstrate a high level of knowledge, win prize places, and are awarded diplomas and certificates of honor.
On December 5–6, 2025, at the VI International Olympiad for university students “Samarkand-2020” held in Samarkand (Republic of Uzbekistan), 4th-year student Myrzash Aigul was awarded a second-degree diploma, while 5th-year students Israil Diana and Meyirbek Zhanizet were also awarded second-degree diplomas.
On May 7–8, 2026, at the International Olympiad for university students “Andijan-2025” held in Andijan (Republic of Uzbekistan), 5th-year student Israil Diana received a second-degree diploma, and 5th-year student Sardarov Saddam was awarded a third-degree diploma.
