• analyzes various periods in the history of international relations, current problems in relations between states, integration processes, globalization processes, processes of regionalism, the level of development of states, international conventions, geopolitical situation, the state and development of modern international relations, world politics, international order, focuses on new trends in international relations, international and regional problems
• analyzes the main theories, structures, actors, modern topical issues of international relations, the processes of multilateral and integration diplomacy in the foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the development of the world political system of international relations in their historical, humanitarian, economic and legal conditionality.

• For applicants in the direction of 6B031 Social sciencies(6В03138-International Relations), the applicant must have a General secondary (full) education or secondary special vocational education, passed the UNT and the final score, scored a threshold score. Applicants coming from abroad are accepted through interviews, provided that they study on a paid basis (for mastering language training and mandatory level of education)On approval of the Model Regulations for admission to studies in educational organization, implementing educational programs of technical and vocational education Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan of October 31, 2018 No. 600 (amended by the Order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 26, 2023 No. 29.).

• Educational programs "International relations" in universities; departments of international relations in universities, research institutes, research centers, mental centers, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, embassies and consular offices, Department of international relations of local and regional administrations, Department of international relations of ministries, media.

• Possessing organizational skills, organizes external and internal political work in state and non-state institutions 
• Conducts professional consultations and expertise on international relations, diplomacy, national or regional foreign policy, political science 

• University graduates enrolled on a master’s program take a comprehensive test for groups of education programs, consisting of a test in a foreign language, a test for the major of a group of education programs, a test for determining readiness for learning. Persons entering a master’s program with the English language of instruction, shall take a comprehensive test, consisting of a test on the major of a group of education programs in English and a test to determine readiness for learning in Kazakh or Russian (optional). Admission to a master’s program is carried out on a competitive basis based on the results of entrance examinations of persons who have a bachelor degree on education programs of higher education. Admission of foreign citizens to a master’s program is carried out on a fee basis.
