External ISO 9001:2015 Audit Successfully Completed at Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University

Over the course of four days, TSE representatives carried out a comprehensive audit, which included interviews with university leadership, heads of departments, and staff; review of internal documentation; on-site inspections of facilities; and evaluation of key institutional processes. The audit covered more than 30 structural units, including faculties, research institutes, administrative departments, the university library, engineering and financial services, as well as the university campus in Kentau.
Particular attention was paid to the university’s quality policy, the development of a quality-oriented culture, and the implementation of risk management systems.
On May 16, a final briefing was held where the auditors presented their preliminary findings. According to the results, the university’s quality management system was found to be effective, compliant with international standards, and demonstrating a high level of maturity and sustainability.
The audit team highlighted the strong engagement of university leadership and the active involvement of staff at all levels in maintaining and improving quality processes. The university received positive feedback from TSE, and the validity of its ISO 9001:2015 certificate was officially extended.
This audit served as a strong affirmation of the university’s commitment to the principles of transparency, accountability, sustainable development, and international integration.
