LAW AND ORDER – THE FOUNDATION OF THE RULE OF LAW AND A STABLE SOCIETY
Today, an important mentoring session entitled “Law and Order – the Foundation of the Rule of Law and a Stable Society” was held at our faculty for students of GTA-311 group of the Department of History, with the aim of improving young people’s legal literacy and fostering a sense of responsibility.
The main purpose of the event was to explain the importance of the rule of law, help students understand that maintaining public order is the responsibility of every citizen, and contribute to the prevention of offenses.
The main areas covered during the mentoring session included:
• Legal culture: the importance of students being equally aware of their rights and responsibilities was discussed.
• Administrative and criminal liability: students were informed about maintaining order in public places, preventing vandalism, and the types of liability provided for violations of the law.
• Order as a guarantee of stability: participants exchanged views on the principle that every developed state is founded on a strong legal system and firm discipline.
During the meeting, students asked questions of interest and shared their views on current legal issues in society. The mentors encouraged young people always to act within the law and to demonstrate “zero tolerance” toward any form of unlawful behavior.
