AN ENRICHING LECTURE WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

Historians from Fergana State Technical University — Khonqulov Shavkatjan, Tishabayeva Iradakhon, Rakhimov Ilhomjon, Akbarova Nigora khon, and Tajibayev Umidjan — paid a special visit to the Department of History of the Faculty of Education and Humanities Research at our university.

The international guests attended a lecture on the subject of “Ancient History of Kazakhstan” delivered to first-year students of group GTH-611 by Gulzhamal Tolegenkyzy Zhorayeva, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Associate Professor.

During the lecture, the shared aspects of ancient history in the territories of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan were explored, and students gained valuable insights into the ancient history of Uzbekistan. Particular attention was given to the remains of a Neanderthal child discovered in Teshik-Tash Cave, the scientific significance of this archaeological site, and the lives of early humans in Central Asia.

The participants also exchanged views on the historical and cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, the development of their contemporary diplomatic relations, the common heritage of the two brotherly peoples, and their shared spiritual and cultural traditions. The visiting scholars shared their perspectives with the students and answered their questions.

This enriching meeting broadened students’ understanding of ancient history and helped them gain a deeper appreciation of the importance of international scientific and academic cooperation. Such meaningful lectures and scholarly meetings undoubtedly strengthen cooperation in education and science between the two brotherly countries while fostering a greater interest in history among the younger generation.
