Department of Science

About Us

The Department of Science is a structural unit of the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University.

The Director of the Department of Science is PhD Khairulla Ghaibullauly Masadikov.

The main functions of the department include:

Organizing the planning of current and future scientific and innovative activities;
Coordinating and managing documentation for fundamental, applied, and innovative research, as well as for research conducted under international programs and projects, and facilitating their implementation;
Summarizing scientific research experience and participating in identifying priority areas for the development of fundamental and applied science;
Ensuring that submitted article manuscripts comply with the requirements of the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Sphere of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Order No. 20 dated January 12, 2016), as well as with the “Regulations on Formatting Manuscripts for Publications at the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University”;
Ensuring the regular publication of the journals “Bulletin of Yassawi University”, “Proceedings of the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University”, and “Turkology”;
Organizing and coordinating the research activities of master’s and doctoral students jointly with academic departments;
Monitoring the implementation and progress of dissertation research of doctoral and master’s students;
Organizing programs for postdoctoral researchers, professors-researchers, associate professors-researchers, and invited foreign scholars, as well as ensuring compliance with admission regulations;
Establishing and maintaining communication with all Kazakhstani and international scholars whose article manuscripts have been submitted for publication.
