Athletes of our university achieved outstanding results at the Republic of Kazakhstan Championship in Greco-Roman, freestyle, and women’s wrestling among adults.

At this major sporting event held in Almaty, the strongest wrestlers from 20 regions of the country participated — including the athletes of our university.

In the 62 kg weight category, Dubek Tynys, and in the 57 kg category, Nulifar Raimova once again demonstrated their exceptional skill by stepping onto the highest podium and claiming gold medals.

Additionally, Balzhan Taspambetova (76 kg), Zeynep Elamas (72 kg), Guldana Oserbay (65 kg), Jasmin Iskendarova (62 kg), and Aynur Ashimova (55 kg) delivered excellent performances and earned well-deserved third places.

Our women wrestlers, representing both the Turkistan region and our university, dominated their opponents and secured 1st place in the team standings.
