    “A COURSE FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT PROFESSIONALS WAS HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY”

    A professional development course for forensic specialists from the Police Departments of Kyzylorda and Turkistan regions has been successfully completed at our university. A ceremonial event was held to award certificates to participants who successfully completed the course.

    The course was organized in Shymkent from January 12 to 17 by the Office of Additional and Non-Formal Education under the Faculty of Medical Education. The 60-hour professional development course titled “Examination of Living Persons and Their Medical Certification” was aimed at enhancing the professional competencies of law enforcement specialists.

    During the award ceremony, certificates were presented to the participants by the Vice-Rector for Socio-Cultural Development, Yedil Tolegenov.

    “The concept of ‘Law and Order’ is the ideological foundation of a Just Kazakhstan. Within this framework, we maintain direct cooperation with law enforcement agencies. Memorandums of cooperation have been signed between the university leadership and sector representatives. The Institute of Lifelong Learning provides various courses for specialists from different fields based on their professional needs. After all, seeking knowledge is a lifelong responsibility—from the cradle to the grave. I wish you good health and success, and I hope the knowledge you have gained will be beneficial in your professional service,” said Vice-Rector Yedil Tolegenov.

    It should be noted that certificates were awarded to 7 officers from the Kyzylorda region and 15 officers from the Turkistan region.

    Speaking at the ceremony, Police Colonel Adilbi Zhussupov, Head of the Operational Forensic Department of the Kyzylorda Regional Police Department, stated: “In line with modern requirements, we have enhanced our knowledge and gained valuable skills in examining various bodily injuries of individuals identified at crime scenes. Dear colleagues, congratulations on receiving your certificates! We express our sincere gratitude to University Rector Zhanar Temirbekova and the staff of the Faculties of Medicine and Law.”

    Throughout the course, participants improved their practical skills and enhanced their professional qualifications. There is strong confidence that the knowledge and experience gained will be effectively applied in their professional activities.
