“REGARDING CYBERSECURITY TESTING FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS”

Students and faculty members of our university actively participated in a large-scale cybersecurity testing initiative held for the first time in the region.

This preventive initiative was launched by the Turkistan Regional Police Department with the support of the Regional Department of Education and our university.

The testing was conducted as part of the “Cyber Shield” media plan aimed at preventing internet fraud. During the mass testing, the level of financial and digital literacy among school students, university students, and educators was assessed.

Overall, more than 350,000 people took part in the initiative.

The results demonstrated a high level of awareness among participants in identifying digital threats, protecting themselves from online fraud, and safeguarding personal data.

The initiative was implemented within the framework of the “Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence” approved by the Head of State. It aims to foster digital culture in society, enhance young people’s sense of responsibility for information security, and prevent offenses.

Looking ahead, our university and the Turkistan Regional Police Department plan to jointly develop digital training and monitoring solutions in the field of cybersecurity. Additionally, the introduction of analytical models enabling early risk detection for educational institutions is planned.

Our university will continue to contribute to the development of cybersecurity and digital literacy at both regional and national levels.
