HISTORIAN ZHANDOS KARYNBAEV DELIVERED A LECTURE

Today, a lecture entitled “33 Facts from the History of Kazakh–Polish Relations” was held at our university by political scientist and historian Zhandos Karynbayev.

The lecture was attended by the university’s faculty members and students, as well as representatives of the intellectual community of the city of Turkistan and the region.

The author’s lecture was aimed at promoting scholarship, national unity, and strong interethnic relations.

During the event, the history of the country was presented in a new perspective through historical connections between prominent figures of the two nations, and previously unknown historical facts were introduced.

The academic foundation of the lecture was based on the works “Poles of Kazakhstan: The History of Formation and the Present Day” and “The History of Kazakh–Polish Relations Through the Lives of Prominent Figures.” These studies reveal the historical continuity between the two peoples through concrete evidence and fully depict the mutual influence reflected in the life paths of well-known individuals.

The lecture, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, analyzed significant periods in the lives of historical figures such as Shokan Ualikhanov, Alikhan Bokeikhanov, and Khadzhimukan Munaitpassov that were connected with the Polish people.

Zhandos Karynbayev provided a comprehensive overview of key moments in the history of Kazakh–Polish relations, enabling participants to better understand the cultural and historical continuity between the two nations.

The event contributed not only to the presentation of historical facts for students and members of the intellectual community, but also to the promotion of national unity and mutual understanding.
