BUILDING THE FUTURE THROUGH AWARENESS: TURKISTAN REGION PROSECUTOR MEETS WITH STUDENTS

An important event entitled “A Conscious Generation Is the Guarantee of the Future,” aimed at strengthening the rule of law and the principles of justice, was held at our university. Within the framework of the “Law and Order” concept, the Prosecutor of Turkistan Region, Murat Tleuberdiyev, met with students.

The main goal of the meeting was to increase students’ legal awareness and to shape a conscious young generation that respects the law, firmly upholds the principles of justice, and deeply understands personal responsibility. In addition, the meeting sought to strengthen legal culture and widely explain legal requirements in order to prevent offenses.

At the beginning of the event, students watched a video that revealed the ideological core of the meeting.

Next, the moderator of the meeting, Rector Zhanar Temirbekova, delivered the opening remarks.

“Dear Prosecutor of Turkistan Region, Murat Tleuberdiyev, welcome to our university. Today, we have gathered the active youth of our university in this hall. Students from the University of Tourism and Hospitality are also present among us.

Unfortunately, recently the number of victims of offenses, droppers, and fraud has been increasing. We must find answers together to the question of how to avoid falling into such situations and share our thoughts with one another. Only then, I believe, can we stop these negative phenomena.

Within the framework of the ‘Law and Order’ concept, extensive work is being carried out across the country and in the Turkistan region. In this regard, I would like to express my gratitude to law enforcement agencies that support our university, participate in our events, and share their professional experience. We always work in close cooperation with law enforcement bodies. Yassawi University places special emphasis on moral and spiritual education,” said the Rector.

Next, the Prosecutor of Turkistan Region, Murat Azhinurovich, stated: “Within the framework of the ‘Law and Order’ concept, we discuss pressing issues in our region together with society and the public. One of our goals was to meet with young people at this university and discuss the consequences of legal violations. Overall, the crime rate in our region has decreased by 9.6 percent. I believe this is the result of the joint efforts of law enforcement agencies. However, internet fraud, droppers, drug-related crimes, and traffic accidents remain serious issues. The Kazakh people say, ‘If you want to build a nation, start with raising the child.’ Therefore, as the older generation, our greatest goal is to guide young people and direct them toward the right path.”

In addition, the regional prosecutor analyzed common types of crimes such as financial pyramids and fraud on social networks, providing information about the legal consequences and penalties. He urged young people to stay away from such crimes and other legal violations. He also shared his views on the issue of bullying and spoke about the harmful effects of drug use.

He addressed the issue of traffic accidents and the consequences of speeding, noting that over the past three years more than 4,000 traffic accidents have occurred in the Turkistan region, resulting in more than 800 fatalities. He called on young people to act responsibly and in accordance with the principles of law and order, not only while driving but in all aspects of life.

At the end of the meeting, students asked the regional prosecutor questions of concern and received comprehensive answers.
