A creative evening titled “Love Under the Moon” was held at our university, bringing together students, faculty, and staff in a celebration of art, poetry, and heartfelt emotion.

The event was organized by the Yasawi Media Club, operating under the coordination of the Shanyrak Club Network and the supervision of the Media and PR Center.

The evening was attended by Rector Dr. Zhanar Temirbekova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Elmira Idrissova, as well as professors, administrative staff, and students.

In her opening remarks, Rector Dr. Temirbekova emphasized the importance of creative initiatives in university life: “For several years now, our university has hosted wonderful poetry evenings. I would like to express my deep gratitude to all the teachers and students who contribute to these events. Poetry is one of the most refined forms of art — deeply connected to our culture and history. I also thank our talented students and the audience who have come today to share this beautiful evening together.”

Vice-Rector Dr. Idrissova, Professor Gulsara Tokkulova, Library Director Akmeruert Absemetova, and Chair of the Alumni Association Mariyam Asanova also extended their kind words and appreciation to the students for organizing such a remarkable event.

Throughout the evening, students showcased their artistic and poetic talents. They recited works by renowned Kazakh poets such as Mukagali Makatayev and Fariza Ongarsynova, as well as their own original poems, filled with sincerity and deep emotion — warmly received by the audience.

Guests also shared personal reflections and memories from their youthful years, recalling moments of love and tenderness. As a symbolic gesture, several audience members offered short poetic performances of their own.

The program featured musical performances and instrumental pieces by students, while a group of young women enhanced the atmosphere with a graceful dance to the song “16 Kyz” and a short stage performance.

The event, which beautifully conveyed delicate human emotions and touched the hearts of all participants, concluded on a high note. Attendees expressed their appreciation to the students and organizers for creating an inspiring and memorable evening.
