    “THE VICE-RECTOR FOR ACADEMIC AFFAIRS MET WITH FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS”

    In accordance with the annual tradition of our university, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Elmira Idrissova, together with staff from the Academic Department, conducted a week of meetings with first-year students.

    The main goal of the events was to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the university’s academic policies and rules, its strategic plans, and core values.

    During the meetings, the team of specialists led by Vice-Rector Elmira Idrissova introduced students to the mission and goals of the university, its strategic priorities, and development directions. Key educational values were presented, including quality, openness, fairness, responsibility, and a commitment to innovation.

    Students were also given complete information about the principles of academic integrity, discipline and accountability in the learning process, the grading system, and academic regulations. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of maintaining academic integrity as a key indicator of the quality of education.

    During the meetings, students learned about university opportunities, including academic mobility, language skill improvement, study trips to the Republic of Turkey, library services, tuition benefits, and other aspects. Additionally, topics such as examination procedures, requirements for internships, grading systems, and other key areas were discussed.

    At the conclusion of the events, students asked questions and received additional information about the relevant departments and services.

    These meetings helped first-year students better adapt to university life, develop a sense of responsibility for their studies, and gain a deeper understanding of the university’s values.
