PERSONAL CREATIVE EXHIBITION “THE PRECIOUS HERITAGE LEFT BY MOTHER” HELD

Тoday, our University hosted the opening of the personal creative exhibition of Mereke Aidarsha, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Fine Arts of the Faculty of Arts, Media and Design, member of the Union of Artisans of Kazakhstan, and Honored Cultural Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, entitled “The Precious Heritage Left by Mother.” The exhibition was organized within the framework of the “Person of Labor” concept.

The purpose of the event was to promote the values reflected in the preamble of the updated Constitution. By advancing the principles of historical responsibility, national unity, preservation of cultural heritage, and duty to future generations enshrined in the Basic Law, the event aimed to strengthen spiritual and legal awareness.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was conducted by Sayan Keldibekov, First Deputy Prosecutor of Turkestan Region; Aidos Sultanov, Chairman of the Turkestan Regional Court; Bolat Kalmurzayev, Head of the Department of the National Security Committee for Turkestan Region; Arystangani Zapparov, Head of the Police Department of Turkestan Region; Yerbolat Balgabayev, Head of the Department of Economic Investigations for Turkestan Region; Bekarys Shoibekov, Deputy of the Turkestan Regional Maslikhat; and Zhanar Temirbekova, Rector of the University.

In her speech, the author of the project, Mereke Aidarsha, noted:

“I create my works from natural materials—felt and wool yarn. I weave carpets and bau-baskur bands, make syrmak rugs, and engage in reed (chi) weaving. In general, I master all types of traditional crafts, as I have my own students. In the teaching process, I strive to fully respond to students’ needs and teach various forms of art. Therefore, I know all facets of craftsmanship and apply them in practice.”

Each work vividly conveyed maternal care and the spirit of the nation. The artist’s creations, combining national art with contemporary trends, are distinguished by their profound content and call for the careful preservation of maternal heritage.

It should be noted that the exhibition was organized with the support of the Prosecutor’s Office of Turkestan Region.

The event was aimed at promoting the traditions of Kazakh folk crafts, honoring maternal heritage, and strengthening intergenerational continuity.

The meaningful program continued with a roundtable discussion entitled “The New Constitution: The Legal Foundation of a Just Kazakhstan.”
