    “THE UNIVERSITY VICE-RECTOR, ACADEMICIAN N. BAZANOVA, HAS BEEN AWARDED A PRIZE”

    Our University’s Vice-Rector for Science and Strategic Development, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Ainash Essimbekkyzy Oshibaeva, has been awarded the first domestic prize for female scientists named after Academician Naila Bazanova.

     

    Today, at the Palace of Science in Almaty, on the eve of March 8 – International Women’s Day, a solemn award ceremony was held, established by the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     

    Naila Orazgulkzy Bazanova (1911–1993) was the first female academician in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, Doctor of Biological Sciences, and professor. She is considered one of the founders of the science of physiology of agricultural animals. As the first Kazakh woman to earn a doctorate in biological sciences, she made a significant contribution to the development of domestic science.

     

    This award is presented to leading female scientists who have achieved high results in science, possess significant scientific potential, and have made a substantial contribution to the development of the country.

     

    Ainash Essimbekkyzy is an experienced scientist in the field of medicine. She has conducted scientific research in public health for many years. Her scientific and pedagogical experience spans 25 years. Currently, she is the head of a major scientific program for 2024–2026, funded by the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     

    Her work is widely recognized in the international scientific community. She has 24 Scopus-indexed articles, a total of 86 scientific publications, and 5 intellectual property documents.
