CLIMATE AND ART: A FOREIGN ARTIST HELD A MASTERCLASS
As part of the “Sustainable Development Goal 13 – Climate Action”, a unique event titled “Climate and Art: Artistic Reality and a Global Issue” was held at our university. The event was jointly organized by the Research Center for Sustainable Development and the Faculty of Art, Media and Design.
The conceptual German artist, lecturer, and professor Nadine Fecht was specially invited to share her creative experience.
Professor Fecht emphasized that climate change is not only a scientific or ecological issue, but also a social phenomenon that can be communicated through art. She illustrated how art can influence human thought and emotion, contributing to raising ecological awareness in society.
During the event, students and faculty received new insights on global environmental challenges and were introduced to modern conceptual drawing techniques. They also took part in a masterclass focused on developing creative thinking skills.
This meeting inspired young artists and designers to express their ideas freely and to show care for nature through creativity.
