History and General Information

The history of the Department of Performing Arts began in 1995 with the support of the People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor R. Seitmetov, with the opening of the specialty 0602 – performing arts, 060240 – Acting. Professor R. Seitmetov was appointed head of the department, who called on all specialists to conduct lectures. By the way, theater critic D. I. N., Professor B. Kundakbayev, Ph.D., Associate Professor A. Sh. Kuzhakhmetova, Ph.D., Associate Professor K. M. Seitmetov, Ph.D., A. Zhumash, Choreographer, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan such teachers as cultural worker M. K. Baubekov, K. P. N., senior lecturer Kuzdeubaeva A., diploma holder of the republican song contest "Zhas Kanat - 95", composer Duisenov A. N., famous actors People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ashimov A., Orazbayev S., D. Turankulova, theater critic A. Sygai performed from the first lectures and master classes. The first students began to play bilingual performances from the 3rd year. Since 1997, he has toured and visited several cities of the Turkish state, where he staged B. Vahapzade's historical drama "Blue Turks" and S. Balgabayev's drama "the most beautiful bride" in Turkish. In 2001, the specialties "Music Education" and "Design" were added. In 2004, the Faculty of Arts was established, specializing in Vocal Art, People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor Rakhima Zhubaturova from Almaty and People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kazhybek Bekbosyn, specializing in traditional musical art, were invited.

• 1995-2004 Professor R. Seitmetov was appointed head of the department;
• In 2004-2006, the Faculty of "Art" was established, Dean, PhD, Associate Professor K. M. Seitmetov.
