Symposium discussed global issues

On April 13, the closing ceremony of the IV International Symposium on Religious Studies and Global Peace was held in the Great Hall of the Cultural Center.

The Symposium was organized by TIMAV (Turkey) Foundation on April 11-13, with the unification of Nejmettin Erbakan, Selchuk, Nevshehir, Haci Bektur Veli, Balikesir and Akhmet Yassawi Universities.

Dean of the Faculty of Theology, Mehmet Bayyigit, moderated the scientific event. Dean of the Faculty of Theology, professor Ramazan Altyntash, Director of the Institute of Social  Sciences of Selchuk University Demirci Mustafa, Mufti of Konya (Turkey) Ali Akpinar talked about the importance of the meeting at the final meeting of the meeting.

The Vice President, prof. M.Kutalmysh, President of the TIMAV Foundation, Mr. Ecevit Oksuz, handed a robe and gave a gift. Vice President for Development and Finance M.Eren handed in gifts to Muhiddin Okumushlar. Guests R. Altyshshash, E.Oksuz, M.Okumushlar thanked the governors of the university and gave presents.

The symposium involved 16 general meetings with academics. At the conference scientists discussed the issues of unity, cooperation and prospects of the Islamic world, the situation in the Islamic world, spiritual values, etc.

This symposium was held in Konya (Turkey) in 2013, in Sarajevo (Bosnia Herzegovina) in 2016 and in Spain in 2017.
