On May 11, 2018, within the framework of the program article “The Future: Modernization of Public Consciousness” by the Head of State N.A Nazarbayev, the international scientific and practical conference “The Turkic World: Ancient Turkestan” was held, organized by the Department of History of the Faculty of Humanities. The vice-rector for scientific and innovative work was the moderator Prof. T.Raimberdiev. The Vice-Rector for Development and Finance M. Eren made a congratulatory speech and handed over the memorandum on mutual cooperation between the two higher educational institutions to the head of the Department of History of Uzbekistan and Political Science of the Tashkent Chemical Technology Institute, professor S. Ulzhayeva. As you know, 2018 was declared the year of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan, and this memorandum became another link in the sphere of education and culture of the two fraternal countries. At the plenary session, the head of the Department of History of Uzbekistan and Political Science of the Tashkent Institute of Chemistry and Technology, professor Sh.Ulzhayeva (“Azerbaijan National Democratic Movement and its platform”), Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor of the Eurasian National University named after L.Gumileva Zh. Artykbaev (“Turkestan – the golden cradle of Turkic peoples”), professor of the history department M.Kozha (“Necropolis of Turkestan: burial places of the Kazakh elite”) and other researchers from Kyrgyzstan made meaningful reports. The conference was held at a high scientific and theoretical level and had a great influence on the study of urgent problems of the history and culture of the Turkic peoples. The conference was conducted in the sections “History of Turkic peoples”, “Turkic civilization: yesterday and today”. At the end of the conference, all participants received personal certificates.
