Judicial transparency is a requirement of the times

Today, the University hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Pre-trial Production: Reality and Improvement Ways”, organized by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan against corruption, the regional akimat and our university. The main goal is to discuss current issues in the field of pre-trial proceedings, to study international experience and new effective approaches.

The event was attended by: Deputy Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Shabdar, Deputy Akim of Turkestan Region S. Kalkamanov, ICTU Rector B. Abdrasilov, I Vice President of the University Zhengiz Tomar, Executive Director of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan M. Jienbaev , Associate Professor of the Russian State University of Law A. Kravtsova, Head of the Turkish Deposit Insurance Fund N. Gunesh, Associate Professor of the Tashkent State University S. Murataev, member of the National General Twain Council under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.Omarova, chairman of the Public Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan M.Kogamov.

Deputy Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.Shabdar said: “Dear guests, colleagues! At today’s scientific-practical conference, the improvement of the pre-trial investigation will be discussed. First of all, thanks to the organizers of this conference. The introduction of a digital system in the criminal process has begun. All this ensures the transparency of the process. ”

The deputy akim of the Turkestan region S. Kalkamanov emphasized the role of khans and biys in maintaining justice and legal relations in the public life of the Kazakh people, as well as in the development of legal political consciousness and culture. He expressed confidence that the participants in today’s conference will jointly discuss new opportunities and methods of pre-trial investigation in our law enforcement sphere.

IKTU Rector B. Abdrasilov noted: “Dear colleagues and participants of the conference! Today is a very important event. Questions of the criminal process and pre-trial proceedings are very important. As you know, in 2014 a new Code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Kazakhstan was adopted, which has been in force since 2015. I think that this important event, organized by the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Turkestan region at our university, will become an open platform for a comprehensive discussion of judicial issues and making positive changes. ”

At an international conference, which was attended by more than 500 lawyers, representatives of authorized bodies from Turkey, Russia and Uzbekistan, as well as the Supreme Court, the General Prosecutor’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of our country, created a platform for dialogue within the framework of the law and shared best practices.

I vice president of the university Cengiz Tomar said: “Dear friends, colleagues! Holding large-scale meetings at the university, where key issues of the future of Kazakhstan are discussed, give our scientists the opportunity to share their experience and knowledge. Good luck to the conference participants! ”

During the international conference, the film “1424”, shot by the Department, was presented to the public. An international conference held in Turkestan will foster a sense of justice and enlightenment for the people of the region.
