"THE CHAIR OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MET WITH THE STUDENTS"
The Chair of the Board of Trustees of our university, Muhittin Simsek, met with the university’s active students. The meeting was attended by the Student President and the heads of the clubs under the “Shańyraq” Student Clubs Coordination.
It is worth noting that the Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Development, Edil Tolegenov, the Vice-Rector for Finance and International Relations, Mustafa Giritlioglu, as well as representatives of the Youth Policy Department, were also present.
Opening the meeting, the Chair of the Board of Trustees, Muhittin Simsek, said: “Today, our university has nearly 100,000 graduates. They now hold important positions across the world. I believe that after completing your studies, you too will serve your countries and play important roles. You are not only our students, but dear to us as our sons and daughters! That is why we have gathered here to meet you, to discuss ideas about the clubs, and to exchange views.
Dear students, together with the members of the student clubs, you have been carrying out important work for our university. We are proud of the achievements of each of our students,” he said.
In addition, the Chair of the Board of Trustees emphasized to the youth the importance of honoring and respecting their parents. He encouraged each student not to forget their homeland and the university where they received their education, and to serve their country as strong professionals in the future. He also spoke about the university’s significance in the Turkic world and its potential in the field of science.
Muhittin Simsek expressed his readiness to listen to the thoughts and suggestions of active students. In turn, the student leaders presented the goals and projects of their clubs. They noted that by enhancing club activities, they could contribute to the university’s development in various areas.
At the end of the meeting, the active students expressed their sincere gratitude to the Chair of the Board of Trustees, Muhittin Simsek, for listening attentively and giving special importance to their opinions. They noted that this gathering gave them great motivation and strengthened their sense of responsibility and new ideas for contributing to the university’s development.
