As part of the international exhibition “Heritage That Has Stood the Test of Time – The Silk Road”, various master classes for students are being held at our university.
In the Cultural Center, experienced artisans are sharing their skills and secrets in calligraphy, wood carving, illumination, miniature art, and ornamental design.
Not only students but also faculty members are among those who have visited the exhibition and tried their hand at different crafts.
Our students experienced the harmony between ancient traditions and modern art, getting acquainted with the rich heritage of craftsmanship. They not only observed but also demonstrated their own skills: some practiced Arabic calligraphy with pen and paper, while others created decorative wood carvings. The colorful ornaments they produced are truly eye-catching.
This event was special in that it allowed participants to better appreciate the importance of the “Year of Workers – 2025”, declared in our country. Students who took part in the master classes witnessed the vital role of working people in society and the tireless efforts of traditional artisans. By understanding the value of genuine labor and craftsmanship, they grasped the main idea of the “Year of Workers” — to promote honest work and professional excellence.
The master classes not only broadened creative perspectives but also strengthened cultural connections among nations.
