At our university, Professor of Nazarbayev University, Dr. Adnan Yazıcı, delivered a master class titled “Enhancing Scientific Potential: Opportunities to Increase Article Citations and Improve Researchers’ Hirsch Index.”
The event, aimed at strengthening scientific capacity, was attended by faculty members, master’s and doctoral students.
This activity was organized within the framework of the scientific project “Developing Innovative Technologies and Creating Modern Infrastructure for the Sustainable Development of the South Kazakhstan Region.”

The main goal was to enhance the scientific activity of university researchers, expand the visibility of their research outputs, increase citation indicators of publications, and ultimately provide methodological and practical support to raise their Hirsch index (h-index).

At the beginning of his speech, Adnan Yazıcı expressed his pleasure at visiting the city of Turkistan and especially Khoja Ahmed Yassawi University.
He further emphasized the importance of research ethics, data accuracy, and scientific writing style for achieving international recognition of research results. He also highlighted the need for long-term strategic planning and active collaboration among research groups to improve the Hirsch index.

At the end of the event, participants expressed their gratitude to the speaker for sharing his experience and insights on enhancing scientific potential.
