“THE COUNCIL OF ELDERS SUMMED UP THE RESULTS OF THE YEAR.”
Today, our university held the final meeting of the Veterans’ Council for 2025.
During the meeting, veteran faculty members reported on the work carried out, discussed plans for the coming year, and considered organizational matters.
It should be noted that the university currently has 78 veterans. Most of them have been working continuously at our institution for more than 25–30 years.
The meeting was attended by Bektas Sherikbayev, Deputy Chairman of the Turkestan City Veterans’ Council, who, in his speech, highly praised the work of the university’s veterans and expressed his gratitude.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the Veterans’ Council, Professor Seydulla Sadykov, delivered the annual summary report and provided a detailed overview of the work accomplished over the year.
The plans of the Veterans’ Council for the upcoming period were also discussed. In particular, it is planned to send about 15 veteran faculty members to the Republic of Türkiye for travel and the exchange of experience.
Further efforts will focus on the proper celebration of the 35th anniversary of the founding of our university, as well as on the continued education and mentoring of students.
Regarding the agenda items related to the report and elections, the activities of the university’s veterans’ organization were recognized as satisfactory. As a result of a unanimous vote, Professor Seydulla Sadykov was re-elected Chairman of the Veterans’ Council.
