SCIENTISTS AT OUR UNIVERSITY HAVE CREATED A TELESCOPE
The device was developed as part of the grant project “Development of Student Training in English for Engineering and Technical Fields Based on STEAM Education.” The research team includes: project leader — Associate Professor of Physics, PhD Sherzod Ramankulov, PhD Bakytzhan Kurbanbekov, graduate students and lecturers Serik Polatuly and Nurkozha Zhaksylyk, doctoral student Kazhymukan Kelesbaev, master’s student Yahyo Karimzhanov, and other young scientists.
The telescope’s components, corresponding to its working principle and design, were entirely printed on 3D printers. Scientists, together with students, tested the device and obtained a clear image of the Moon, including its visible dark spots.
Additionally, several STEM stands have been launched in the “STEM and Creativity” laboratory to enhance the effectiveness of teaching in the field of alternative energy sources. These stands allow the study of the physical characteristics of solar and wind energy and are integrated into the educational process. The developed cost-effective and accessible stands enable students to perform various laboratory experiments.
The results of the project have a positive impact on the educational system in the context of the industrial revolution and open opportunities for addressing pressing global challenges.
