“THE PEOPLE’S ARTIST OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN, RAMAZAN STAMGAZIYEV, GAVE A LECTURE-CONCERT AT OUR UNIVERSITY”
As part of the academic mobility program, Ramazan Stamgaziyev visited the Faculty of Arts, Media and Design. For one week, he delivered lectures to students majoring in “Traditional Music Art” at the Department of Performing Arts.
Opening the meeting, Ramazan Stamgaziyev remarked:
“Dear colleagues! Within the framework of the academic mobility program, I have returned to an educational institution where I taught ten years ago. I had the opportunity to reconnect with the administration and faculty, and the reception was extremely warm. Over the course of four days, we carried out meaningful and productive work with the students. Their level of preparation and engagement is truly encouraging. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the university administration and teaching staff. I firmly believe that today’s students are tomorrow’s shining stars.”
During the lecture-concert, students showcased the results of the knowledge they had gained over the week and demonstrated their artistic abilities. Ramazan Stamgaziyev also performed, playing the dombra and singing.
Vice-Rector for Socio-Cultural Development Yedil Tolegenov then addressed the audience, stating:
“I was raised under the guidance of my grandparents. Growing up in the Syr region and the northern foothills of the Karatau Mountains, we listened to terme from an early age. The terme and songs performed by our students today reflect the rich history of the Kazakh people and possess great educational value. Thank you for visiting our university, guiding our students, refining their musical interpretation, and sharing your knowledge. We know you as a dedicated servant of folk art. May your creativity continue to flourish, and as the saying goes, ‘may the student surpass the teacher’—may our students continue to grow and succeed.”
In addition, Ramazan Stamgaziyev donated new music-related textbooks to the university library. These included works by People’s Artist of Kazakhstan and Professor R. Stamgaziyev, teaching manuals by Honored Figure of Kazakhstan and Professor N. Zhanpeisov, as well as books by distinguished cultural figures Sh. Darzhanova, Murat, and Talgat Abilgazy.
The distinguished singer’s visit to our university served as a great source of inspiration for both the creative community and talented students.
