At our university, a leadership development event titled “Leadership – 2026” was held with the participation of active students. The significant event was organized within the framework of the “Law and Order” concept.

The main objective was to develop participants’ leadership abilities and enhance their strategic thinking skills, as well as to promote effective teamwork and introduce practical tools essential for modern leaders.

The meeting was attended by Myrzabay Yermakhan, Deputy Chairman of the Turkestan Regional Branch of the Zhas Rukhy Youth Wing, representatives of the Department of Youth Policy, and other invited guests.

The event was officially opened by Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Development Yedil Tolegenov, who wished the students success and emphasized the importance of leadership. He also noted that the university places great trust in each of its students.

During the event, more than 130 active students competed in various contests aimed at developing leadership qualities. The competition consisted of three stages, during which participants actively engaged in confidence-building games. All tasks were designed to foster mutual support within teams, strengthen unity, and develop skills for working together toward a common goal.

After each contest, Head of the Youth Center Aidana Askerbek explained its content and educational significance, providing analysis and feedback while listening to participants’ opinions and impressions. As a result, students realized that teamwork is more important than individual competition and recognized responsibility, mutual trust, and support as the core values of a true leader.

Throughout the event, students’ alertness, quick thinking, and problem-solving abilities were tested, while their creative and organizational skills were further developed. Participants presented team slogans and showcased their talents.

Based on the results of the competition, members of the team recognized as the best were awarded a cup and special prizes.
