Today, a debate tournament titled “Fair Kazakhstan: Constitutional Changes and the Youth Perspective” took place at our university.

The event aimed to enhance legal literacy among youth, foster a deeper understanding of the significance and impact of constitutional reforms, and provide an intellectual platform for developing civic awareness.

During the tournament, participants discussed the proposed amendments to the Constitution, evaluating their influence on national development, democratic processes, and the principles of justice in society.

Nine teams participated in the debate. The event offered young people the opportunity to strengthen their critical thinking, analytical, argumentative, and public speaking skills. It also contributed to shaping an active, responsible, and legally aware generation. Participants actively engaged in discussions, defending their viewpoints with well-reasoned arguments.

The team “Si-Saya” was awarded first place in the tournament.

This meaningful debate platform promoted legal education among young people and reaffirmed that a generation with a deep understanding of constitutional values forms the strong foundation of a just Kazakhstan.
