In her remarks, Rector Zhanar Temirbekova stated:
“Dear guests, welcome to Turkistan! Today we have gathered for a very meaningful reason. Any cooperation and friendship, if sustainable, can last for centuries. This is a legacy passed down from our ancestors. Turkistan stands at the crossroads of civilizations. It is a land shaped by the economic culture that developed over centuries along the Great Silk Road. Therefore, you have come together at our university today to pave the way for the future. We are truly delighted. Whenever events of the Organization of Turkic States are held, we are pleased and strive to contribute as much as possible. A festive atmosphere fills our university. Several organizations are working toward the integration of the Turkic states. One of the pioneers and an international institution is the Khoja Akhmed Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, where you are gathered today.”
Special attention during the meeting was given to strengthening the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry institutionally and enhancing its effectiveness as the main platform for interaction among the business communities of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States. Participants emphasized the importance of establishing sustainable coordination mechanisms to facilitate prompt decision-making and effective implementation.
Following the meeting, the TCCI Action Plan for 2026 was unanimously approved. The document provides for the implementation of initiatives aimed at expanding business cooperation, developing industrial and agro-industrial collaboration, strengthening partnerships in the service sector, and creating favorable conditions for promoting joint investment projects.
