    “Our Student Named National Eco-Ambassador”

A third-year student of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at our institution and an active member of the Green Growth club, Akbota Kuandyk, has been named an official eco-ambassador of the national Stop Musor project.

The main goal of the Stop Musor social and environmental project is to encourage citizens to take part in recycling through waste sorting and to promote the development of the green economy concept in Kazakhstan. The project also aims to increase public awareness, cultural attitudes, and social responsibility in household waste management. The initiative is implemented by the Association of Environmental Organizations of Kazakhstan.

As part of the national Stop Musor project competition held among young people across the country, 48 applications were submitted from different regions. According to the selection results, 9 participants were chosen and awarded the title of official eco-ambassadors of the Stop Musor project.

An eco-ambassador is a person who promotes environmental protection ideas, follows an environmentally responsible lifestyle, and encourages others to sort waste and protect the environment.

We congratulate our student on this achievement and wish her every success in her future plans.
