Today, our university hosted the grand opening ceremony of the AI STARTUP HUB innovation office.

The event was held within the framework of the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who declared 2026 the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.

The AI STARTUP HUB innovation office is a center aimed at developing digitalization, creating projects based on artificial intelligence, fostering an innovative entrepreneurship ecosystem, and supporting startups at the university.

In addition, this platform will provide opportunities for young inventors and proactive youth to further develop their projects, implement them in practice, and elevate innovative ideas to a new level. 

The important event was attended by the Prosecutor of the Turkistan Region, Murat Tleuberdiyev; the Head of the Police Department of the Turkistan Region, Arystangani Zapparov; the Head of the Department of Economic Investigations of the Turkistan Region, Yerbolat Balgabayev; Deputy Head of the Department for the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Turkistan Region, Ayan Akberdiev; the Head of the Education Department of the Turkistan Region, Ghalymzhan Orynov; the Rector of the university, Zhanar Temirbekova; Representative of the Rector, Naci Genc; and other responsible officials.

During the ceremony, the guests cut the ribbon of the AI STARTUP HUB innovation office opened in the university’s main building. After the opening ceremony, participants familiarized themselves with the activities of the center and viewed several special projects.

It should be noted that nearly 25 projects are currently being developed. These initiatives are aimed at advancing digital solutions, effectively utilizing artificial intelligence technologies, and strengthening the university’s innovation potential.

The opening of the new center is one of the important steps toward forming a modern startup culture at the university by integrating science, technology, and entrepreneurship. It also creates favorable conditions for supporting the fresh ideas of students and young scientists, transforming them into real projects, and developing them in practice.
