    STUDY IN KAZAKHSTAN 2026: HIGHER EDUCATION EXHIBITION WAS HELD

    Today, the “Study in Kazakhstan” exhibition of higher education institutions of the country and branches of foreign universities was held at the university. The important event for school students was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The university and the Department of Education of Turkistan Region provided support for this event.

    The purpose of the “Study in Kazakhstan” exhibition is to provide Kazakhstani applicants with the opportunity to obtain internationally recognized diplomas within the country. It also aims to introduce participants to academic programs offered by higher education institutions and to guide them in making informed career choices.

    At the opening ceremony, Rector Zhanar Temirbekova delivered the first speech, saying: “Dear school students and teachers! Heads of universities in our country and branches of foreign universities, specialists in the field, and all guests, welcome to sacred Turkistan and to our university! The ‘Study in Kazakhstan’ exhibition is one of the unique initiatives in the field of education. We express our gratitude to the Advisor to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ruslan Emelbayev, and to the Head of the Department of Education of Turkistan Region, Galymzhan Orynov, for organizing such an excellent project on a regular basis. We are very pleased. Dear school students, a bright future awaits you. Work hard in your studies. I wish you success in the upcoming Unified National Testing, high scores, and admission to your desired universities and chosen fields on a grant basis,” she said.

    In turn, Advisor to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ruslan Yemelbayev, expressed gratitude to the Department of Education of Turkistan Region for supporting the exhibition at a high level in Turkistan, as well as to the staff of Khoja Akhmet Yassawi University for facilitating the event.

    He noted: “In recent years, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education has been working actively. By instruction of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, strategic partnerships have been established with nearly 40 foreign universities in Kazakhstan. As a result, today you are seeing at the exhibition several branches of foreign universities that have opened in the country.”

    “Dear young people, today’s meeting is not just an exchange of information. This is a time when you make one of the most important decisions in your life. This is a period when you should not make random, imitative, or careless choices. A profession is not just a job; it is your lifestyle, your position, and your role in society,” said Head of the Turkistan Region Department of Education, Galymzhan Orynov.

    According to him, Turkistan Region is one of the youngest and fastest-growing regions in the country. Today, more than 500,000 students are studying in the region. Among them, around 35,000 graduates finish school every year. This is not just a statistic, but 35,000 destinies, 35,000 choices, and 35,000 opportunities. Last year, 34,000 students graduated, and more than 20,000 of them entered higher education institutions.

    The event continued with presentations of universities of Kazakhstan and branches of foreign universities.

    During the exhibition, career guidance specialists provided advice to students. In total, more than 60 domestic universities and international branch campuses participated, offering young people new opportunities for quality education.

    School students, graduates, teachers, and parents were able to obtain detailed information about universities and admission requirements.
