DORMITORIES’ READINESS FOR THE NEW ACADEMIC YEAR WAS INSPECTED
The University administration visited the student accommodation facilities to review the progress of renovation work being carried out during the summer period and assess the overall condition of the dormitories.
A team of specialists led by Yessen Kalybayev, Director of the Facilities Management Department, presented the work completed in the dormitories and provided information on the activities planned for the upcoming period.
Renovation work is currently being completed in stages across all University student residences. The main requirement is to ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard.
Renovation work in some blocks has already been fully completed. Interior and exterior walls have been painted, and damaged doors and windows in the rooms have been replaced. Beds have been fitted with new mattresses, and new linoleum flooring has been installed. Work is also underway to equip the dormitories with the necessary household appliances.
The University administration is paying particular attention to the quality of the renovation work. During the inspection, Rector Zhanar Temirbekova met with a representative of the contractor to discuss issues related to the quality of the work being carried out and the deadlines for its completion.
Ensuring that every student at our University can study and live in a comfortable and modern environment remains a key priority. Therefore, work aimed at improving the condition of the dormitories is carried out every year.
The University administration will continue to closely monitor all renovation work in the dormitories to ensure that it is completed to a high standard and within the established deadlines.
