BANK CENTERCREDIT PRESENTED 100 BOOKS TO THE UNIVERSITY LIBRARY
Today, an important event was held at our University as part of the “Reading Nation” project initiated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The event was attended by Nursulu Yegemberdiyeva, Director of the Turkistan Regional Branch of Bank CenterCredit JSC; Altynay Sadykova, Director of the Central Branch; Yedil Tolegenov, Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Development; Akmeruert Absemetova, Director of the Library; as well as librarians and active students.
During the event, Nursulu Yegemberdiyeva, Director of the Turkistan Regional Branch of Bank CenterCredit JSC, presented 100 copies of Eleñ-Alañ, a novel by prominent Kazakh writer Abish Kekilbayev, to the University library. It should be noted that Bank CenterCredit supported the republication of Eleñ-Alañ in the Kazakh language, contributing to the release of 8,100 copies of the book.
Eleñ-Alañ is one of the outstanding works of Kazakh literature. Set in the era of Khan Abulkhair, the novel explores the historic decisions that shaped the destiny of the Kazakh people.
On behalf of the University community, Vice-Rector Yedil Tolegenov and Library Director Akmeruert Absemetova expressed their gratitude to Ruslan Vladimirov, President of Bank CenterCredit JSC, and the Bank’s representatives for supporting the publication of the new edition. They also expressed confidence that this valuable contribution to the University’s intellectual and cultural development would continue in the future.
