“AI TUESDAY”: MODERN METHODS FOR CREATING MEDIA CONTENT
As part of the second week of the five-week “AI Tuesday” practical marathon, our university hosted a training session entitled “Creativity and Media: Promoting Faculties and Engaging Prospective Students.”
The event was held within the framework of the Academic Leadership Programme and the YASAWI STARTUP Incubation Programme.
Its primary objective was to teach faculty teams how to create high-quality marketing and career-guidance content quickly using modern artificial intelligence tools.
The practical session was attended by faculty deans, deputy deans, heads of departments and academic advisers. The training was conducted by Abylaikhan Tastanbekov, Coordinator of the Research Commercialisation Sector.
The speaker first demonstrated how Google Vids (Flow), an artificial intelligence tool, can be used to create short films from prepared texts and materials, arrange scenes and produce videos. He then presented several methods for uploading texts and prepared materials to AI platforms to generate short films and videos using ready-made footage.
He also demonstrated how the HeyGen service can be used to voice texts through virtual presenters and explained the advantages of the system, which enables video content to be created in multiple languages.
In addition, the speaker shared effective methods for creating content featuring melodies, vocals and musical accompaniment using the Suno platform.
It should be noted that last week’s marathon session focused on the theme “Optical Illusion and a Contest of Imagination.” During the current meeting, participants were also assigned a task by the speaker to create media content using artificial intelligence.
As a result, the participants of “AI Tuesday” learned how to produce high-quality multimedia content efficiently for educational and administrative purposes and further developed their skills in using modern artificial intelligence tools.
