Today, a round table was organized by the Sustainable Development Research Center to introduce the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations to first-year PhD students of our university, and to demonstrate the use of key terms from the SDGs in their scientific publications.

During the round table, the Director of the Sustainable Development Research Center, T. Gaipov, discussed the center’s goals for development.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are globally accepted objectives aimed at eliminating poverty, addressing inequality and injustice, protecting the planet, and ensuring peace and prosperity for all people. 17 main goals have been selected to be achieved by 2030. Their implementation will lead to the sustainable development of all key areas of life in the country and help address global issues that affect every individual on this planet. He also highlighted that first-year PhD students should link their dissertation topics and scientific work to the "Sustainable Development Goals" and use relevant key terms in their research.

In the future, the PhD students agreed to align their dissertation topics with the "Sustainable Development Goals" and work closely with the center.
