In front of the university’s main building, the administration, faculty members, staff, and students performed the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan in honor of Republic Day, which is celebrated on October 25.

This historic day, marking the first step on the path to our nation’s statehood, holds special significance. On the eve of this remarkable date, following an annual tradition, the university community and students sang the anthem as the State Flag waved proudly over the square. The participants’ patriotic spirit was vividly reflected in the solemn and uplifting atmosphere of the event.

The commemorative gathering was attended by Rector Zhanar Temirbekova and Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Development Edil Tolegenov.

Rector Zhanar Temirbekova noted:

“October 25 is one of the most important national holidays of our country — Republic Day. This day carries special historical meaning, as it represents the dream our ancestors cherished for centuries. Today, together with the entire nation, our university community and youth celebrate this significant occasion at a high level. Various official events and meetings have been held.

In this regard, I express my gratitude to the university staff and students who proudly performed the National Anthem in the square. I congratulate everyone on the upcoming Republic Day! I wish your families well-being and happiness!”
