Today, our university hosted a creative meeting on the topic “Writers and Literary Tradition” with the participation of Nurdaulet Akish, a member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, chief researcher at the Department of Literature and Artistic Journalism of the Independence Era at the Mukhtar Auezov Institute of Literature and Art, Doctor of Philology, and renowned writer.

At the meeting, organized by the Faculty of Philology, the writer focused on issues of tradition and innovation in the development of Kazakh literature and shared stories from his creative career. NurdauletAkish expressed profound thoughts on artistic exploration in literature, the craft of writing, and the role of writers in the spiritual life of the nation.

In addition, the writer read excerpts from his works of fiction, talking about the history of their creation and their ideological content. During the meeting, students asked questions and expressed their opinions on literature and creativity.

At the end of the meeting, Vice-Rector for Social and Cultural Development Yedil Tolegenov gave a speech, expressing gratitude to Nurdaulet Akish on behalf of the educational institution and wishing him creative success.

This meeting, held in a spiritual and creative format, broadened the students' horizons and strengthened their interest in literature.
