As part of the “Kazakhstan — Space of Academic Education” Strategic Partners Forum held in Astana, our university’s project AI-Jan won the nomination “For the Benefit of Society: Social Initiative of the Year” at the AI-Sana Ceremony.

The AI-Sana Ceremony was dedicated to recognizing the best projects in the field of integrating artificial intelligence technologies into the education system and developing digital competencies. Assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuanyshbek Yessekeyev delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the strategic role of the AI-Sana initiative in enhancing the intellectual potential of the new generation.

Representing the university, Ainash Oshibayeva, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Science, took part in the forum and received the award.

The AI-Jan project was developed under the YASAWI STARTUP program implemented by the university’s Office of Commercialization. The system is designed to support school and university students during periods of emotional stress and to help prevent bullying.

We view this award as a high recognition of our youth’s innovative ideas aimed at using artificial intelligence for the benefit of society.
The university will continue to actively develop startups that combine artificial intelligence, education, and innovation, strengthen the ecosystem, and support young researchers’ initiatives.
