Students of the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering of our university — Islam Abdulakhadov and Milaz Khinizov — took 1st place in the student project and research competition organized by the Association of Banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Their innovative project titled “AI for Finance: An Intelligent Real-Time System for Preventing Financial Fraud” was recognized as the best project in the field of fintech.

The project aims to prevent financial fraud by analyzing banking transactions in real time and detecting suspicious activities. This intelligent system, which utilizes artificial intelligence algorithms and modern data processing methods, contributes to enhancing the level of banking security.

The competition is aimed at supporting and developing projects of students and young researchers in Kazakhstan in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, fintech, and digital technologies.

This achievement of our students is the result of their knowledge, perseverance, innovative thinking, and constant pursuit of growth. By combining technology and science, they contribute to the digital transformation of our country.
