A MEMORANDUM WAS SIGNED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE REVENUES
Today, a memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed between our university and the Department of State Revenues for the Turkistan Region.
The event was attended by Rector Zhanar Temirbekova, Head of the Department of State Revenues for the Turkistan Region Maksat Nurakhayev and representatives of the department, Vice-Rector for Science and Strategic Development Ainash Oshibayeva, Director of the Commercialization Office Azat Issakov, as well as university staff.
The purpose of the memorandum is to promote the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of taxation and customs affairs, to introduce modern service software products related to the fulfillment of customs and tax obligations, and to jointly prepare promising projects.
As part of the agreement, the parties agreed to conduct research aimed at improving information systems for tax and customs administration, provide recommendations and proposals for the digitalization and automation of the activities of the state revenue authorities. In addition, it is planned to hold joint informational events, forums, and conferences to raise tax awareness and reduce the shadow economy.
It should be noted that the department intends to implement the research results of university scientists in practical activities to support businesses and improve incentive mechanisms within the state revenue authorities. It is also planned to implement innovative IT projects and conduct their testing in the field of electronic tax and customs administration services.
The landmark memorandum was signed by Rector Zhanar Temirbekova and Head of the Department of State Revenues for the Turkistan Region Maksat Nurakhayev.
Both parties expressed their readiness to join efforts in the fields of education and science, exchange experience, implement joint projects, and contribute to the economic development of the region.
