A DELEGATION FROM THE ISLAMIC WORLD EDUCATIONAL, SCIENTIFIC AND CULTURAL ORGANIZATION ARRIVED AT OUR UNIVERSITY
Today, a delegation from the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), along with representatives of the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Charity Foundation, arrived specially at our educational institution.
It should be noted that the guests will hold a seminar titled “Innovative Methods of Teaching the Arabic Language” at the Faculty of Theology.
Among the guests are specialists headed by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Makushi, Deputy Director General of the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Charity Foundation, and Dr. Anas Hussam al-Nughaimi, representative of ICESCO.
` First of all, they met with Rector Zhanar Temirbekova and Representative of the Rector Naci Genc. The meeting was also attended by Vice-Rector for Finance and International Relations Mustafa Giritlioglu, Head of the International Relations Department Furkhat Dadazhanov, and Dean of the Faculty of Theology Sultanmurat Abzhalov.
During the meeting, the role of our university in the national and international academic and educational environment was presented. It was also noted that the Faculty of Theology was first established in Kazakhstan specifically at our institution.
Speaking at the meeting, Rector Zhanar Temirbekova said:
“Dear members of the ICESCO delegation, distinguished guests! First of all, let me welcome you on behalf of the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University and express my gratitude for your interest in our educational institution. It is a great honor for us to host representatives of such an esteemed international organization.”
In addition, the rector proposed opening an ICESCO educational and research room on the university campus and equipping it with modern multimedia tools, as well as resources for studying Islamic sciences and the Arabic language. Abdulaziz Al-Makushi, Deputy Director General of the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Charity Foundation, supported this proposal. Both sides expressed confidence that this center would become an important step in developing the Arabic language and Islamic culture in the Central Asian region.
The meeting also discussed the international language preparatory project of Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as the purpose and significance of the upcoming seminar on the Arabic language.
Afterward, the guests and the university administration met with the faculty members and students of the department.
